EPL Wrap Up
Now we know why the EPL is the most exciting League in the world. The worst team of the year is Mio TV for giving me and all of you tension every weekend despite paying good money from our blood, sweat and tears as I saw many people spitting saliva on facebook especially during the climax of the grand finale over the weekend for hanging so often and having to restart, for having no sound sometimes, for lagging, for the terrible experience. We should have 20 service providers competing like the EPL with the poorer ones relegated. Ah, now we are talking. I hope they will do something before the new season as one season is long enough! So that all of you can stop the #@$!
Man City Captain, Belgian international Vincent Kompany said that he doesn't want to go through such a tumultuous climax again and I was thinking "Me too!"
(6th) Chelsea 2 (19th) Blackburn 1 - This was an academic exercise. To qualify for Europe next season, Chelsea has to beat Bayern Munich in Germnay next Sunday to win the Champions League! Blackburn has already gone down with Venky chicken. Can Chelsea do it with 3-4 regulars down and out?
(7th) Everton 3 (5th) Newcastle 1 - The Blues of Merseyside can brag for a year. Credit must go to David Moyes and the Goodison boys. Their run in was nothing short of fantastic! Newcastle was strangely subdued. Even greater credit to Alan Pardew for turning the Magpies into who they are now and a candidate for manager of the year. They should build on from here. If he found more success, a future England manager. The Magpies can fly now!
(1st) Man City 3 (17th) QPR 2 - I still do not understand how City could take an early lead only to go down 1-2 and was unable to crack QPR even after Joey Barton was sent off. Barton is a guy who could start a fight with himself in an empty room. Edin Dzeko sealed his name in the Citizens's folklore when he scored the all important equaliser with a thumping header in the 90th minute, a goal that gave City belief that they can claw back victory and Kun Aguero showed what a striker he is when he sniped the winner in injury time to ensure his name in the history book in healing 44 years of hurt since 1968. What an incredible climax! we have to feel sorry for Utd. Will City go on to dominate from here on? Will Mancini continue as their manager. I'm sure he's the right man for the job. Manager-Of-The-year for sure?
(12th) Norwich 2 (15th) Villa 0 - This match was inconsequential. It was not even featured "live' on TV as it has totally no part to play in the promotion or demotion fight. Norwich manager Paul Lambert should have been a candidate for manager of the year for he made the Canaries play with a certain boldness and ambition. A classic example of excelling with limited resources. McLeish was the first casualty as he got sacked.
(14th) Stoke 2 (18th) Bolton 2 - Had Bolton won they would have stayed up beating QPR by a point. When Kevin Davies scored that incredible goal from an acute angle from afar into the near post, you thought they have made it. Heart-broken.
(13th) Sunderland 0 (2nd) Man Utd 1 - Martin O'Neill will fare better next time around. His Sunderland fizzled in the last quarter of the season. Man Utd must have thought they have won the title as City was still 1-2 down at home to QPR by the 89th minute. Had City lose it, I am not sure if City could recover from such devastation. Now that Man Utd has lost in such a painful way, can they recover?
(11th) Swansea 1 (8th) Liverpool 0 - Of late, the only bright spark from Liverpool seems to be Andy Carroll. I have been saying that Dalglish will not be around much longer and I was right, they sacked him. Bring on Jose Mourinho! Credit must be given to Swansea and kudos to Brendan Rodgers whose tactical ability and transfer market awareness plus his courage in playing a passing game at all times made Swansea endearing. Maybe Liverpool should sign him? Or could it be Paul Lambert of Norwich and Martinez of Wigan. Liverpool do not appear to be rushing to get a big gun like Mourinho. Oh, why not Pep Guardiola?
(4th) Tottenham 2 (9th) Fulham 0 - Never believe in anyone who said you are so good and should be this or that and that's what happened to Harry Redknapp. The consolation is he has been doing exciting stuffs at Tottenham. He needs to keep Luka Modric and Gareth Bale, forget about England and focus on Spurs.

(10th) WBA 2 (3rd) Arsenal 3 - Roy Hodgson siad his farewell to the WBA fans as he moves on to England leaving behind a good side. Arsenal started and ended the game in similar fashion to Man City. An early lead, cancelled by 2 replies before the come back. Arsenal for all their pretty ways, has this knack of making things very difficult for themselves. Wenger, besides, fighting to keep RVP must figure a way how not to shoot themselves in the foot.
(15th) Wigan 3 (20th) Wolves 2 - Wigan was safer than anyone else. Their end part of the season was fantastic! They could beat everyone at the top. They must start this way. Wolves was way off the pack since early on and struggled. Wolves kept losing but they are not totally bad. Wish them well.
For those of you who haven't signed up for Euro 2012, be ready for 3 months of pain without your weekly fixes. If you have, you delay it for a month. All the best to you as I prepare for the close season. See ya next season!
