TaylorMade Burner Tour Ball

Image
I have previously put out an article on the best golf balls in 2010 and in it I have recommended that the Taylormade Penta 5-piece ball was a good choice as a performance ball which could rival the champion golf ball Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x. Please see the below link: http://gforce-guru.blogspot.com/2010/12/balls.html . Then later I penned a piece on a less heard or advertised version which is the Mizuno S201 ball: http://gforce-guru.blogspot.com/2011/06/mizuno-s201.html and when I met and had a round with a golf kaki (mate), he was using the TaylorMade Penta and when he found out that I was using the Mizuno S201, he asked why I recommended the Penta but I was using a Mizuno. You see, I have to experiment, search, discover and sacrifice so that you can have a better life. Now, I am going to tell you about the TaylorMade Burner Tour golf ball. The Burner Tour golf ball was created to combine maximum distance with great feel. The thinner and softer cover provides more contr...

Mizuno S201

Mizuno is a Japanese sports goods company and famous especially for their forged golf irons. They also have the whole works of drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, cast irons, wedges, putters, gloves, shoes, etc. But golf balls? Like my other experiments with a variety of golf clubs, the different brands and models, I would sometimes experiment with golf balls too. Besides the Pro Vs from Titleist, the TaylorMade Penta is up to scratch. These are usually soft balls that gives you better feel and feedback especially for putting. So I got myself some Mizuno S201 golf balls and they are made to have softer feel and price-wise very reasonable. First thing that struck me was ...

The Ball The most important thing at the 19th World Cup soccer tournament held for the first time on African soil is the ball. At every World Cup held once every four year, a new ball is usually unveil and players would fret about them especially the goalkeepers because although the ball will be within specification, some slight changes in characteristics like feel, weight, bounce and even the wicked swerve imparted from side spin can cause anguish and pain to one party and delight and joy for another. Scientists have been develping the 2010 World Cup ball since the end of the last one in 2006. They envisioned a ball that does not absorb energy, that has accuracy in flight, that applied all of the kicking force applied to the ball, has soft feel, is safe for the head - in short the optimum soccer ball but it must adhere to strict specification of the USGA. Er no, I mean FI FA. Hey, I wasn't talking about a golf ball. The name of the FIFA World Cup 2010 soccer ball is named...
