Just like honesty is an absolute, so is sincerity. There is no more honest or less honest people, just honest or dishonest people just as there are no more sincere or less sincere people, just sincere or insincere people. Agree? Sincere comes from the Latin word sincerus which means clean, pure and sound. It is the quality or condition of being sincere; genuineness , honesty and freedom from duplicity. So what should we value in life? Sincerity, honesty, humility, fidelity and loyalty? To be genuine is to be real not fake while freedom from duplicity means more Batman than Two-Face though Batman wears a mask, haha. There are people who treats wealthier, more powerful people or their bosses very well appearing to be a very nice person but step on and over all others. Why the double standard? Halloween What is Halloween? In some countries it is a holiday on 31 October. You have costume parties, visit haunted attractions, play pranks and tricks, watch horror movies, share scary stories and wear monster masks. Halloween may have been influenced by old day Christians' All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day to honour the Saints and the recently departed. The American tradition of carving pumpkins was ancient and was associated with harvest. Children donning costumes or masks would go around asking for trick or treating with trick meaning to perform some mischiefs, tell a story, etc in return for treats. People would dressed up as ghouls and witches or make themselves look like monsters even though some of us already are without even trying or wearing the costumes with special effects.
