Magnanimity What is magnanimity?  To be  magnanimous  is to be courageously noble in heart and mind. So it means you have to have courage and nobility, not just in the heart but also the mind. To discuss it all would probably take some five volumes of books, one title for each subject. In the last few years, I have written many articles about how Singapore can be better and the issues at hand, how we treat foreigners and that include domestic helpers and labourers not just expatriates and PRs, problems with making babies, consumerism and materialism, our pressure cooker situation, education system where people are just focus on results and everyone all stressed out, our bad driving habits, the ugly Singaporean, why children should just enjoy their childhood, why we must be a gracious society, etc. and they are sprinkled all over in various articles. Adam Lambert

Adam Lambert has been setting the benchmark since the first day of the latest season of American Idol. I do think that he has these gifts of singing and performing. He was already the star in the making and he certainly does not need to win it to land contracts. Fristly, Adam has the looks to fashion himself look a rock star. He has a versatile and great voice to match regardless if he is doing pop, rock or even classical. He has a stage persona and presence which comes naturally and even he owns the stairs on the American Idol stage where he would sometimes strut down with good timing. He even has a wicked twinkle in his eyes or perched lip to express an emotion and the way he is able to control and release his voice. He has been amazing all the time. Ditto for his song choices. I was most impressed with his rendition of Gary Jules and Tears For Fears' "Mad World" which I thought was out of this world. Even Simon Cowell gave him a standing ovation. It was u...
