EPL 2020/21 - Game Week 3

In Game Week One of the new season, it produced 23 goals in eight  matches. Game Week Two was even more furious where Everton, Leeds and Tottenham gave us 7-goal thrillers and  total of 44 goals in ten matches with high scoring matches being the theme. Not only that, there have been a quite a number of hattricks - Salah, Calvert-Lewin and Son but Son bested them all with four goals and Harry Kane provided an incredible four assists and a goal setting a new record of a player providing four assists to another who scored four times. If you aren't tuned in you don't know what you are missing. Long may it carry on!  Wow! I have also noticed the fashion statement. Welcome back to the EPL! It is still strange to see empty stadiums and fake crowd noise. Where there is no intimidating home ground advantage and the only slight advantage for the home teams are that they are more familiar with their own pitch and they don't have to travel.  In last week's season opener, Arsenal and of course Aubameyang got off quickly with a reassuring 3-0 away win at Craven Cottage over Fulham. A new condensed season is soon underway and we can be happy. As we aged, we experienced new things as I could see among friends. We gave up playing soccer, some gave up golf. Heck, some even gave up following and watching soccer. We need hobbies don't we? Things that we can be passionate about. What are you going to do when old and retired? Pay bills and die? The  lock down and months of WFH has changed everything. The entire world need a new reset. Well, at least we have some distraction by way of a new season of soccer league even as we live the life of a hermit in a cave. Gareth Southgate's England over-achieved at the World Cup. Then he was bolder but now way too conservative. Jack Grealish had a great season but was originally overlooked. Selected ahead of him were Phil Foden (City) and Mas
