EPL 2018/19 Game Week 36

What a season with only three games left! What are we gonna do from May to August? Last week both City and Liverpool did not blink. City were not at their best at the Etihad but they were still very good. You cannot say Tottenham were bad. They played three times against each other in a couple of weeks and at the same venue twice in that week. Liverpool kept the faith to stay in contention. Everton shocked the Red Devils with an awesome display with perhaps their biggest win over them 4-0. If you saw the roti prata man wearing a Man Utd Jersey and ordered four kosong, a fight would have happened. That result was shambolic. I read that their fans are now asking for Mourinho to return. United were supposed to pose City their toughest remaining game but even with more desire their quality was lacking and promp tly lost 0-2. Now if I go to the prata man and ordered two kosong, a fight might break out.  Forget about United and think Burnley. Liverpool fans could only  hope week to week

There are airports and there are airports. I have an affinity for airports especially at Changi. Each time I returned home, I kiss the ground at Changi. How many airports have such plush carpet, plants, flowers, gardens, shops and food and other entertainment for weary travellers? Many from overseas often tell me how great Changi Airport and Singapore is. A prophet is never appreciated in his own country as it is said.  We have new terminals adding up and being built way before the tourist numbers increased. Terminal 4 was completed and now building Terminal 5. Some joked that we are suffering from terminal illness. Oh and what a shame that some parcels of land from golf courses had to be taken. For the greater good so just shut up and play as it lies. Golf is important and it is not elitist as some folks think. The sport itself never is. It was just how some made it up to be. Tiger Woods' comeback has been significant for golf. After all his marital disaster and serious back an

EPL 2018/19 Game Week 35

I have a Manchester United fan friend who has been complaining because City and Liverpool are making things so boring week in and week out, taking turns to head the table. It shall all come to an end soon. Nobody has been wiser to know the end and it surely beats last season where only half-way through and you probably knew City would be crowned champions. City win their remaining matches and there is nothing to say but they cannot slip. Liverpool must win every match too and must not slip. Maybe both will loose points but much will depend on the City v Spurs and United v City games.  Meanwhile in Europe, Ajax are returning to greatness and where they should belong as their young team won 2-1 at Juventus ending Ronaldo's dream and made Juve's 100 million pounds investment futile. Ajax shall now be meeting Tottenham Hotspurs who sent City out winning on away goal rule in what was a most dramatic tie at the Etihad that City won 4-3.   Barcelona and in particular the genius Lio

Windsor Park

The Upper Thomson area is surrounded by greenery. Located at Venus Drive there is a beautiful park called Windsor Nature Park. Nature lovers and nature photographers would love this place. Bird watchers too. There are various trails for one to explore there. There are trails with rare and native plants, a Drongo trial with a sub-canopy walk where one could look down on a secondary forest. There are several freshwater streams and marsh habitat. You may spot a pangolin or some wild boars all these very near to the Central Catchment Nature Reserve. This green buffer is said to be 75 hectares. There are other nature parks like that and you could find them at Springleaf, Thomson, Chestnut nature parks.  The last time we visited there was a storm. We have to hide in the shelter but after waiting for too long I decided to walk to the car and got thoroughly soaked. Even the umbrella was of no help. This time I would just merge with the forest. The Windsor Nature Park The park has
