Continued.....from Part One... We cycled and stop at some places to soak in the serenity and sense of the place. As always, I like to see things from different angles. So I went under a bridge and this was how it looked. I learned that whatever is past is gone, they are water under the bridge. Who knows I might catch a fish in the water? A blessing in disguise. Or get a view between tall grass on what's on the other side. They say the grass is greener on the other side. What lurks beneath when you see such waters?  She flows out here in its own splendour. When you drink water, always remember the source. What are these? Chili? Never seen this plant before. Maybe a cure for cancer? Don't believe me? One day the plant and insect world may come to our rescue. Railway Bridge

Recently, a few folks logged on to my blog from Kuwait. That is the 79th country. Then some friends thought that the write up on "The Elderly" was interesting. I told them that I would like to set up a place, a paradise where there is the sun, sand and sea with a 9-hole golf course thrown in and plenty of beer to go around and our slogan for such a retreat for the elderly would be "If you want pretty nurses, you have got to be patient". They sounded happy.   Another who followed my blog closely has been telling me that the articles in my blog were awesome in all kinds of beautiful language all on his own making and made me feel like a million bucks and like a giant but he reminded me that Vincent van Gogh, the genius that he was, killed himself finally. What Are Bridges? Bridges are built to span across physical obstacles like road, bodies of water or valleys so that a passage is provided for vehicles, people and goods to move. Stones and rocks in a river or fallen trees can be a bridge. Ancient Romans were great bridge builders. Chinese bridges existed during the time of the Warring States with the oldest being the Zhaozhou Bridge. Rope bridges were used by the Inca civilization in the Andes. After a breakthrough in technology, the first cast iron bridge was built in England in 1779. Then wrought iron was introduced before larger bridges were built with steel.
