There was a time when people say...we could not make it, but we did. But we did. You see Cuzzies United FC is not a new football club for the S. League. In fact, it is not even a football club. It, however, is going to be a food club.  It is not just another food club but a special one for special reasons. It is a group of different generations but with the younger who should be taking over the helm and renewing ties that should continue into the future. Because we are Singaporeans, we went through the same historical moments in life and we grew up together are are related by kinship by blood, one way or another.  It is often perhaps always the grandmothers and in the same vein mothers that have kept the family closely knitted. I used to walked past this place to and fro my car park. There was once a quiet food court here. It is a small and quiet park - the Duxton Park. Two years ago, I wrote about the Duxton Plain Park: http://gforce-guru.blogspot.sg/2013/06/duxton-plain-park.html There is a Bodhi tree here also known as the Boh Tree where Buddha once sat below it to meditate. The Bodhi tree has heart-shaped leaves. Now I have found even more reasons to be here. The quiet food court of old has been transformed by a few enterprising people into the "Essen @ The Pinnacle''. Essen is a name of a city in Germany in the Ruhr Valley and Rhine Rivers. It is also a German word which means to dine and eat. When I walked in, I immediately like this place.
