Mohamed Sultan And Robertson Walk
Mohamed Sultan Road stretches from Saiboo Street, Martin Road to River Valley Road which also accesses the Robertson Quay area. At its peak one time, it was the most happening place to let your hair down where you can easily find 30 or so watering holes. It was a historical place where the street was given its name harking back to 1898 where many warehouses, factories and shop-houses lined the entire street. Mostly were homes in pre-war Singapore. It all began in 1992 when former journalist Peter Wong opened the Front Page and later the Next Page pubs. Others soon followed such as dbl-O, Wong-san, Siam Supperclub, En Lounge and many others and then there was Madam Wong's.
