Marche @ Vivo City

The problem with big shopping centres is that you don't have time to cover the entire place at one go, even after several times as you may be there for a certain occasion only. From Mah Boon Krong in Bangkok to giant malls in Malaysia or Nex at Serangoon and Vivo City in Singapore.

Since we were early, why not take walk at the roof top and see what beckons. A cloudy day means a cooler walk but you won't get great lighting.

A decor which is synonymous with the facade of the building.

The curves continue at the children's playground.

Cable cars from a distance.

I decided to do some exercise routine.

Sometimes we need to look at things from an upside down position to have a good perspective.

Or even from downside up.

A lovely harbour view befitting the intention of the planners.

With Sentosa and RWS in the background.

Bread and butter of a nation - quay cranes at the nearby port.

Land transport to Sentosa. A route taken many times.

Cruise ships and something very familiar to me - ferry to Batam, once a great golf escapade for me.

Potatoes galore, placed just outside the restaurant. Potato is "kan tan" in our dialects which can be used in reference to western food, westerners or simply being westernised.

Our mission was to check out Marche. It's Swiss.

Swiss market restaurant. You get a card going in just like Shokudo and now Buffet Town and they charged to your card whenever you order food at each station.

Then the heavens came pouring down.

The ingredients are very fresh.

Vegetables, tomatoes and mushroom. Yummy!

This is truly wonderful. Broccoli, carrot and shitake mushrooms.

The Rosti and Veal are superb! Must have!

European decor which is cushy and comfortable.

Ang moh popiah? This crepe is huge. You can top it up with more meat, vegetables, mushrooms or other ingredients. Just pay extra $$$.

More vegetables to go along. Healthy!

Chicken if you like.

The lemon tea is good because it is real. Freshly made.

Calamari. Not bad but I prefer the deadlier version from some tze char stalls that is fried with salted egg.

If you want a family or staff meal, or simply meeting up with friends, this is a good place to come to.
