EPL Game Week 30

Nine more games and the season will be wrapped up. Mirror, mirror on the wall, who will be the champions of them all? Man Utd seems to have an easier run-in than City so if both could keep getting identical results then the City v Utd match would be a big cup final. You can't rule out some surprises in between if one can make things more exciting.

Chelsea v Tottenham - Tottenham has not won in 4 matches in a row drawing their last match 1-1 at home to Stoke and slipped to fourth place now. The speculation of Harry Redknapp joining the England set up has affected them? Chelsea is five points behind them and will close the gap if they win which threatens Spurs European dream. Chelsea has been on a WLWL. Time for a 2-2 draw.

Arsenal v Villa - Arsenal can do no wrong now. They have won everything home or away and Arsene Wenger is a hero again. Villa are the draw specialist but they won't be able to stop the Gunners' onslaught. Arsenal scored 12 goals in their last 5 matches with a 2.4 goal average whole Villa is at 0.66 goal. 2-0 as the Gunners keep marching on. If Arsenal hasn't started off so badly they might even have won the League.

Bolton v Blackburn - It is shocking to see what happened to Fabrice Muamba. Thank God he was reported to have awaken and now recovering. When things like this happened, you realised that a lot of things in life including soccer is not longer that important. Bolton has just scrapped a 2-1 win over QPR and got out of the bottom three. Blackburn are on a roll having won their last two including a 2-0 win over Sunderland and Yakubu was at it again. If anyone could survive the drop, it will be Blackburn. Bolton players may be affected by what happened to Muamba but his recovery may spur them. 2-2.

Liverpool v Wigan - Liverpool is a complete mystery. They have lost to Sunderland, beaten Everton 3-0 then plummeted to a 2-3 loss to QPR. This alone will give Wigan hope. Many punters at the coffee shops may be walking alone now. Wigan hasn't lost in two matches. I really don't know if more frustrations lie in wait for Pool fans. To help you relieve some stress, I say 2-1 to Liverpool.

Norwich v Wolves - Norwich has exchanged place with Swansea. They have stopped winning for awhile. Wolves has one leg down into the next division. It is a good time for both to meet one another because both will be thinking they can win. If Wolves can win a few matches their position will change. Do they have it in their will? 2-1 to the Canaries.

Sunderland v QPR - LLDWL for Sunderland which means they have gotten into Slumberbland after all the fireworks earlier. DLLLDLW for QPR, the last being a 3-2 win over Liverpool kept their noses 2 points above water. If QPR loses and Bolton or Balckburn got a result then QPR will be further endangered. Maverick owner Tony Fernandez has taken a dig at Singapore's bureaucracy while his team struggles. Let's get Breadtalk to buy over an EPL team and make soccer talks. 2-1 to the Black Cats.

Swansea v Everton - Swansea is having a defining season and manager Brendan Rodgers has made an inexperienced team play beautiful soccer and they are in 8th position just 3 points behind Liverpool. It gives a dream to the other teams to aspire to and their 1-0 win over Man City could well be the most defining. They went further to trounce Fulham 3-0 away and should be on course to finish strongly. Few teams could do that at the Cottage. 2-1 to the Swans.

Stoke v Man City - Stoke did well to hold Spurs 1-1. Man City must win this one as they can't afford to lose touch and keep pace as they still have to face an in-form Gunners away soon before they face their red neighbours in a derby. That derby would have less significance if they do not win the games before that encounter. City should be too strong here. 2-0.

WBA v Newcastle - DLWWWLD for WBA and WWLDDLW for the Magpies means identical results. Demba Ba seems to have stop scoring. Looks strongly to be a draw on the cards. 2-2.

Man Utd V Fulham - The title is now for Man Utd to lose. If they win all games they are home. It is all about experience, nerves, conviction and belief now. Fulham fell badly to Swansea and Utd romped to an emphatic 5-0 win over Wolves. Don't read too much into all these as Fulham has at times been a jinx and nemesis for Utd. But Man Utd is cruising now. An early goal by Clinton Dempsey can make things interesting. 2-1.
