EPL Game Week 33

I am preparing you for an impending period of time where you will feel like zombies when the EPL season ends soon. Please prepare yourselves.

Arsenal v Norwich - The Gunners are going great guns. They are on a roll as have been with the tradition of their late finish. Norwich have not won in 5 matches scoring only 3 goals and conceded 8. Hardly a good thing to take to the Emirates. Only their previous record with Arsenal was not too bad with WDL at 1/1/1. Arsenal are in 5th place 2 points behind 4th placed Tottenham with a game in hand. A bird in hand is worth two in the bush and the Canaries are there for the taking. However, they can be tough too as they have shown against Swansea. 2-1.

Aston Villa v Fulham - Villa lost to big guns like Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool narrowly. They have deservedly clawed their way up to 16th with 33 points. Christian Benteke has been amazing with a current tally of 15 goals. Fulham was undefeated for 5 matches before losing 1-0 to Newcastle. Their past meetings record are level with not many goals. Villa is in good form and Fulham is away. A home win for Villa. 2-1.

Everton v QPR - Everton's last 4 matches was a draw and 3 wins. They are underrated but a very solid set up. ALl Everton fans should be proud of this team. You can see QPR trying really hard but in life trying hard alone is sometimes not enough. You have to have some luck. They should really have beaten Wigan last weekend. What a goal from Loic Remy and what an equaliser from Wigan. Everton have not beaten QPR since 1995 and have a poor record somehow against QPR. This may be a low scoring affair of not more than 2 goals as their history suggests. 1-1.

Reading v Liverpool - Reading are obviously in serious trouble by now which is sad for a hard-working, brave and decent team. It is getting tougher for them now. Liverpool is essentially still a good team but very inconsistent. In 9 meetings there have never been a goalless draw. Liverpool will win this as they should but not without a good fight. 1-2.

Southampton v West Ham - You may not believe this. Southampton have not lost in 5 matches chalking 4 wins and 1 draw. and this included beating Liverpool and Chelsea on the trot. The Hammers held Liverpool last week and it was because Pool was bad rather their West Ham being brilliant but still you can't ignore that they had beaten WBA 3-1. Only a few players in Europe's top league have fashioned as many goalscoring chances from open play as Rickie Lambert. West Ham seldom score when playing away. Go for a Southampton win. The Saints are having an incredible season. In their last 3 matches, Southampton scored 2 or 3 goals. Because in-form Andy Carroll is back, Hammers will get a goal. 2-1.

Newcastle v Sunderland - Their 1-0 win over Fulham was crucial. Sunderland have not won in at least 9 matches or more, a poor record. The Magpies are stronger at home this season but they have a few injuries. They have home ground but also a better record than Sunderland when they have met. Tough for Di Canio in this derbt. 2-1.

Stoke v Man Utd - No win for Stoke in 6 matches. In 5 matches Stoke could only hold them once. Utd have lost to both Chelsea and Man City in the FA CUp and League respectively. Are they losing a bit of steam. AN away win for Utd. 1-2.

Arsenal v Everton  - It's a tough call here. Arsenal are picking up but Everton have been as stubborn. This is in the Gunners' hand in. Arsenal have been boosted by their Bayern win so their self-belief have return. Everton is a hard nut to crack but the Gunners are good and are on a roll. A close call but home team wins. 2-1.

Man City v Wigan - City have just beaten Utd. so they have the bragging rights. Can Wigan conjure the magic of last year to fight back. City should win this one. 2-0

West Ham v Man Utd - The Hammers are in a better position to halt Utd. Utd have been losing. They should still take the title but they seemed to be waning. A Surprise? 1-1.

Fulham v Chelsea - Fulham can create quite a few problems at home in Cravan Cottage and Chelsea seemed jaded. Mid-week games can also take its toll. Besides, this is a London derby. 2-2.
