EPL Game Week 5
They did a test on the new iPhone 5 by going to the streets and asking people how they felt about it compared to the old one but the model that they used was actually the current model as the new one has not arrived. Everybody said it was better - lighter, more functions, bigger screen, etc. like a wine test where people would say the wine in the more expensive bottles were better when actually cheaper wine was in it. This world is not real and easily influenced. It is better to have an independent mind.
However, it is true to say the iPhone 5 really does have a bigger screen because now you don't have to scroll down to find Liverpool. Ouch!! Oops! Opp, Opp, Opp! Oppa Gangnam Style:

Last week, I had 5 matches right on the WxDxL with one perfect prediction for the Everton v Newcastle 2-2 draw. It was unfortunate that I was away and didn't watch the matches as usual.
Swansea v Everton - I told you it would be difficult for the Swans to maintain their roaring start but they aren't doing too badly because Aston Villa showed they are getting better when they held Newcastle at St. James Park. Everton could have won at Goodison Park but some controversies prevailed and the Magpies held them. Both teams have scored in every match except one when they lost. Michu and Fellaini to be among the scorers. 2-2.

I got my new mobile phone but the SIM card just won't fit into the phone slot so they got me new replacement for both phone and card but still it couldn't fit. Everybody helped me but it just won't work. It left me stranded like a man on a remote island and the only to reach me is to row a boat here to save me. Are smart phones really that smart? How to do Gangnam Style like that?

Chelsea v Stoke - Chelsea was surprisingly held 0-0 at Loftus Road by QPR. So either Chelsea has declined or QPR has finally gelled. Stoke always offer something different with their physical game which Man City found out last week. Playing at Stamford Bridge will be different and the home side could not afford another draw. Torres and Hazard must score. 2-0.
Southampton v Aston Villa - In terms of play, they are attractive but they have the worst draw in the entire EPL for openers but after an uphill climb the coming down and back should be easier? The Saints badly need a win and there is nowhere better than at home. Just do it the Gangnam style but not the Sundram style. Maybe Lallana or Lambert could score. The thrashing at the Emirates was because the Gunners were too good. This is a good chance to begin their recovery. It could be a draw but I wanted The Saints to win. 2-1.
WBA v Reading - WBA was soundly spanked at Craven Cottage. Reading could not do much as Tottenham cruised to their first win. WBA does not become a bad team over night. It is just like golf where unless you are a highly skilled and consistent player, it won't be easy to score in all areas all the time. I think WBA will be back to their winning ways at the Hawthorns and Shane Long to score. 2-1.
West Ham v Sunderland - West Ham has shown they can play and Sunderland has proven they are hard to beat but they can't win and are draw specialists and away at Upton Park. 1-1.
Wigan v Fulham - Wigan did so well against Man Utd during the first half and then they collapsed. Meantime Fulham had a field day whipping three past WBA. Fulham scored in every game except in that West Ham loss. They may just edge out Wigan. 1-2.
Liverpool v Man Utd - Liverpool is winless. Man Utd themselves are not really that impressive. Liverpool has more problems and less options than the visitors. Can Gerrard, Suarez and the rest raised their game? The least Pool could do is to take the game on with the right strategy. Utd will be more tired after their European night in mid-week while Liverpool rested their players but they may have to wait for their first win. 1-1.
Newcastle v Norwich - If Norwich could not beat West Ham at home do you think they could win away? The Magpies played fearlessly last season but now they are tentative. Just like a raw Rooney was so effective but now so ordinary. What has happened to Papiss Cisse? Isn't it time for him to score? 2-0.
Man City v Arsenal - This is the second big match on "Stay Home Sunday". All is not quite right at Citeh. They are leaking goals letting in 3 to Real Madrid. Meantime the Gunners are quite on song and Wenger has been vindicated. Even youngsters like Jenkinson and Gibbs have adapted so well and Podolski is scoring and they have just secured an away win at Montpellier. Maybe Arsenal could win this one? It will be a big boost for them if they do. 2-2.
Tottenham v QPR - AVB has been a nervous wreck and must have chewed off all his finger nails by now and was going onto his toe nails when Tottenham finally won 3-1 at Reading with Jermaine Defoe hot for country and club. It is a London derby so it could be closed. After QPR held off Chelsea at Loftus Road last week. 2-1.
Have a cracking weekend!
