Best Golf Clubs Of 2010 Part 4 - Hybrids

There are two types of golfers. Those that are always changing or updating their equipment and those whose equipment looks like dinosaurs while others are classic. In each of these types, there are two other types - those who keep changing because there is too much cash and they know not what else is there to do and those who are intrigued by engineering and wanted to take advantage of it to improve their golf life. Then there are those are are already playing a strong game and dare not or feel no need to change because they are so proficient with their weapons or those who really needs a change but refuse to thinking that they should not splurge without consideration to people in the golf industry that needs to feed their family.

In the entire golf bag, the club that really splits people in the middle is the golf hybrid. Golf hybrids were available long before the car industry started the journey. They took the best of both worlds - elements in the fairway woods and irons and incorporated the designs to create such a hybrid first of all to replace hard to hit long irons by increasing its MOI for better forgiveness with a larger sweet spot, lower CG to the back and an increase in trajectory. They are also heavier, has a wider sole, helps you get through thick spinach of rough in a jiffy and offers you beefy confident shots on par 3s with parachute landing. Golfers playing with hybrids today shot up from less than 10% to more than 30% today. Don't lose the advantage, put a hybrid in the bag. Let me share some 2010 top brands and models of hybrids you should seriously consider(in alphabetical order).

Adams a7

It comes with an ultra-thin crown to lower CG and increase spin and an easy launch. Heel toe balance weighting is built to maximise forgiveness. Thin faces are always meant to add ball speed and translate to better distance. Good feel.

Confident to look down during address this one is long. Has a dual rail sole with a recess for better turf interaction on different lies. Cleveland provides a wide ranging 15.5 t0 26 degrees for their hybrids which I like with the other fellow being Nickent. Very playable and is really long.

Ping G15
High launching and forgiving. Lowest loft of 17 degrees is appealing for those who can handle and hope to hit it long. Built to look more like an iron with extra internal toe weight. Frames the ball well at address. Highly forgiving with great distance.

Titleist 909H

Comes with a stainless steel body and a carpenter steel insert for more lively feel. This is for better players. Good looks and great feel.
Exotics XCG3 (Tour Edge)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIWVDhX2n0U
Exotics belongs to Tour Edge but Tour Edge used to make clubs that are very affordable with lifetime guarantee. Exotics is their upmarket brand like Lexus is to Toyota. They are usually quite expensive due to the method they use to build the clubs but their clubs are usually noted for being long. Tungsten weight pads are added internally. This one is low spin for distance and comes in Fujikura Motore shaft. The first Exotics XCG promised twenty more yards.

Remember I have adcoated many times what Bruce Lee once said? That he was not afraid of the man who practise a thousand kicks one time but he fears the man who practise a kick a thousand times.
I say fear not the weapons but the hands that wields it!
Golf as in life, play as it lies.
