TGIGF!!

TGIF!!

Thank God It's Friday! This week is special. We will say Thank God It's Good Friday! Why do people say TGIF!? Simple. Because after Friday, it's the weekends - Saturday and Sunday where you do not go to work. Why shouldn't you thank God for that? He created  everything and then on the seventh day he stopped. He worked for six days then he rested. That's why we too followed suit. It has to be but I know what you are thinking - " Why didn't God worked just four days then rested for three?"

Before humans discovered that the earth is round (they thought it was flat) any one who said it was round was being blasphemous. You could have been prosecuted but He has already proclaimed in His words: Isaiah 40:22 - He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in.

Life Is Short And Full Of Trouble

Job 14: 1 “Mortals, born of woman, are of few days and full of trouble. 2 They spring up like flowers and wither away; like fleeting shadows, they do not endure. 3 Do you fix your eye on them? Will you bring them before you for judgement? 4 Who can bring what is pure from the impure?  No one! 5 A person’s days are determined; you have decreed the number of his months and have set limits he cannot exceed. 6 So look away from him and let him alone, till he has put in his time like a hired laborer. 7 “At least there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail. 8 Its roots may grow old in the ground and its stump die in the soil, 9 yet at the scent of water it will bud and put forth shoots like a plant. 10 But a man dies and is laid low; he breathes his last and is no more. 11 As the water of a lake dries up or a riverbed becomes parched and dry, 12 so he lies down and does not rise; till the heavens are no more, people will not awake or be roused from their sleep.

We Come And Will Go Naked

Job 1:21 - Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.

Our Fingerprints?

Job 37: 7 - He seals the hand of every man, That all men may know His work.

Wonderment

Just ponder what would happen if the earth were to tilt a degree. There will be calamities! Ancients believe that "Atlas" carried the earth on his shoulders.

Job 26: 7 He spreads out the northern skies over empty space; he suspends the earth over nothing. 8 He wraps up the waters in his clouds, yet the clouds do not burst under their weight. 9 He covers the face of the full moon, spreading his clouds over it. 10 He marks out the horizon on the face of the waters for a boundary between light and darkness.
Job 26: 14 And these are but the outer fringe of his works; how faint the whisper we hear of him! Who then can understand the thunder of his power?”

There were Dinosaurs?

...Its tails sways like a cedar. You know how big is a cedar tree? A Cedar tree can grow to 180 feet.

Job 40:15 “Look at Behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox. 16 What strength it has in its loins,
what power in the muscles of its belly! 17 Its tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of its thighs are close-knit. 18 Its bones are tubes of bronze, its limbs like rods of iron. 19 It ranks first among the works of God, yet its Maker can approach it with his sword. 20 The hills bring it their produce, and all the wild animals play nearby. 21 Under the lotus plants it lies, hidden among the reeds in the marsh. 22 The lotuses conceal it in their shadow; the poplars by the stream surround it. 23 A raging river does not alarm it; it is secure, though the Jordan should surge against its mouth. 24 Can anyone capture it by the eyes, or trap it and pierce its nose?

Job 41: 1 Can you pull in Leviathan with a fishhook or tie down its tongue with a rope? 2 Can you put a cord through its nose or pierce its jaw with a hook?   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leviathan

Be Planted By Streams Of Water

Psalm 1: 1 1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. 3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers. 4 Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. 5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgement, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. 6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

Job 28: 28 And he said to the human race, “The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding.

Jesus died on the cross on a Friday. He said: "Father forgive them for they know not what they do."

Watch the part where the thief who believed and the other who mocked. He does not give you up even up to the very last minute, even if you were a thief.

He was crucified on a Friday and rose from the dead on Sunday, that is our Easter Sunday now.

Psalm 115:15 - May you be blessed by the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.
