EPL Game Week 26
Cardiff v Villa - Both are suffering as their results in their last matches were poor. Cardiff sank 3-0 at Swansea while Villa got beaten 2-0 at home by the Hammers. It suggested that both teams' attacks are blunt and defence poor. It will end a tie. 1-1.
Hull v Southampton - Steve Bruce's Tigers upset the form books when they won away at in-formed Sunderland. Not to take credit away but the Black Cats played with less men. Even Tottenham can't find a way to win at Hull. The Saints were unbeaten in 8 matches. Adam Lallana, Jay Rodriguez or Ricky Lambert will score. Away win for the Saints - 1-2.
West Ham v Norwich - The Hammers are back and doing very well indeed but now meeting a resurgent Canaries side that surprisingly held Man City at Carrow Road. That was a great result for Norwich but the Hammers won away at Villa by 2-0. Their past records are about even. Kevin Nolan has been in hot scoring form. West Ham to win again to increase their chances of avoiding the dreaded drop. 2-1.
WBA v Chelsea - If anyone could surprise Chelsea it would be WBA. In their last 5 meetings, there were 2 draws, WBA won twice and Chelsea won twice. All victories were won at home by both teams with scores of 1-0 or 2-1. On current form, the Baggies after having held Liverpool went down 3-1 to Palace while Chelsea dished out a great performance and won 1-0 away to Man City and then cruised to a 3-0 win over Newcastle. Based on history, WBA could win this but in present day circumstances a draw would be a great result for the home team. But Chelsea are the current league leaders and are peaking nicely. Eden Hazard is realising his full potential. A great star in the making. Watch:
Arsenal v Man Utd - The Gunners crumbled at Anfield. Two things can happen after this disaster. Either they respond swiftly with a great performance or they surrender meekly. History does not favour Arsenal as they lost 4 and drew 1 in their previous 5 meetings. But if Arsenal was bad Man Utd have not been much better though Utd tend to rise to the occasion when meeting Arsenal. Will the Emirates reverberate as the Gunners come back from the dead? Already the knives are out as jokes went round calling Mourinho "The Special One", Pelligrini "The Tactical One" and Arsene Wenger "Five-One". In their current state Arsenal are the better team this season but still they lost 1-0 at Old Trafford when they last met but if Utd can't beat Fulham at home. What are their chances. Losing for either team would be disastrous, a draw would be of little benefit. A great chance for Arsenal to turn the corner and pile on the misery. 2-1.
Everton v Palace - Everton did not do too much wrong at White Hart Lane and Tottenham got away as the Everton back line stood watching as Kyle Walker's quick free-kick released Adebayor to get that lone goal. But Everton looked jaded and lacked incisiveness. Meanwhile Palace are going up the table with their good home form with winning becoming more frequent but this is an away game. Everton will go out to get a win. 2-0.
Man City v Sunderland - The only good news for Sunderland is that Man City had hit a dry patch. They surrendered to Chelsea at home and could not break Norwich away. Can they return in an emphatic way? The Black Cats were having their own magic of 3 straight wins before their tragic 2-0 home loss to Hull. Sunderland will continue their resurgence again but away to City at the Etihad is too tall an order. 3-1.
Newcastle v Tottenham - The Magpies are in free fall. They did not score a single goal in 3 matches and leaked in 6. Historical data showed both teams are equal in outcomes. Newcastle have lost their rhythm while Tottenham are still very much in the fray. 1-1.
WBA v Chelsea - If anyone could surprise Chelsea it would be WBA. In their last 5 meetings, there were 2 draws, WBA won twice and Chelsea won twice. All victories were won at home by both teams with scores of 1-0 or 2-1. Chelsea should nick this. 2-1.

Stoke v Swansea - Stoke have improved do did Swansea. They are level on historical record with a draw and both teams won teic but only at home. Stoke did very well at St. Mary's where they held the Saints 2-2 but Swansea trounced Cardiff 3-0. Draw. 2-2.
Fulham v Liverpool - Fulham is the worst team of the EPL based on their standing in the league table but they went to Old Trafford and got a draw. Not sure if they were good or Utd have become very bad. After that superb high of e performance against Arsenal, will Liverpool repeat it? Or sink to normal? In their last 3 matched up, Liverpool won both matches at Anfield 4-0 and 3-1 away at Fulham. Liverpool are getting close to Man City's scoring spree so it is not a problem to score. SAS partnership now has a new dimension - the other SAS - Skrtel and Sterling. All soccer matches should now be restricted to just 20 minutes all out attack the Liverpool way. No need for time wasting or delay tactics. "This is Anfield" sign has some meaning back. That 20 minutes was the most breathtaking soccer I have seen. Arsenal knew Liverpool would come at them with all guns blazing and yet they suffered the fate. If the Reds play like that they can beat any team. It could have been 7-0. Liverpool to win. 1-3.
For those who did not witness what 20 minutes can do for you, watch:
