EPL Game Week 3

It is getting interesting so early on in the season. Unusual stuffs that is. Liverpool are winning. The best player Gareth Bale has not been playing. He did not even turn up for training. I think this is bad. I always turn up for work no matter what because my fans are waiting bro. Spain is bankrupt but Real Madrid could splash a 100 million pounds to buy one player. A big upset has already happened.

Man City v Hull - City dominated Cardiff to no avail. Since when did Frazier Campbell scored twice? But he was outstanding. So why didn't Roy Hodgson call him up for England duty when he called 19 year old Evertonian Ross Barkley and young Tottenham winger Andros Townsend. Big questions are being asked. Was Cardiff's attack so good or was City's defence non-existent? Can City fare well against a hard team? Or will they be back to conquering ways? Perhaps a backlash for the Tigers? Hull may ask a few questions but it will not be enough. Just hope the referee don't "chia peng". 2-0.

Cardiff v Everton - When you beat Man City against the odds, what will happen to you? Inspired but can Cardiff strike again. When you can beat City, you can beat anyone. Not a good time to visit Cardiff City but Everton can be very tough and once again proven to be a draw specialist. It is unfortunate for Everton to be affected by the transfer of Maroune Fellaini and Leighton Baines. Disruption is a bad thing where your focus can be affected. 1-1.

Newcastle v Fulham - Both teams are stuttering. In five previous meetings, the victories were 3-2 in favour of Fulham. They have never drawn. How do you read this? They will continue this trend or based on probability a draw is at hand? I give you another clue - Fulham's three victories were all achieved at home at Craven Cottage while Newcastle's 2 victories were at St. James Park. This match will be played at the Magpies' ground.  A first win for the Magpies may be possible. 2-1.

Norwich v Southampton - The Canaries are better than Hull yet they lost to Hull. The Saints pulled a late equaliser last week to have a very good start to the new season but Norwich and Southampton are eking out a living. I think it shall be a draw. 1-1.

West Ham v Stoke - The Hammers are doing really well. Stoke have only beaten West Ham once and drawn once losing 3 times in all of their 5 meetings but Stoke improved by winning over Crystal Palace. Somehow the Hammers look fresh and decent. Sam Allardyce must have done something right. A home win can be likely. 2-1.

Crystal v Sunderland - Both teams are having poor starts with Palace worse off having lost both their opening games and then also losing to Bristol in the C Cup. The only thing they have now is home ground advantage and a slightly better goal difference than Swansea. Both teams are about hard work. Sunderland could win but being away, it shall be a draw. 1-1.

Liverpool v Man Utd - Liverpool have 2 straight wins with Mignolet and Sturridge in form. The latter  goal at Villa was highly impressive. He should be leading the England front line in World Cup qualification. It showed that when given opportunities, talent can shine. Man Utd while clinical against Swansea proved once again hard to beat when they drew 0-0 with Chelsea. Liverpool have a slightly better chance to win at Anfield. In their last 5 meetings, 3 were at Anfield where Liverpool won once, drew once and lost once losing both ties at Old Trafford. That draw was 1-1 while all the the rest of the scores identical at 2-1. This should be close and could go either way even a draw. I shall throw caution to the wind and pick a Liverpool win. 2-1.

WBA v Swansea - Both are good teams with poor starts but both redeemed themselves - WBA in the C Cup and Swansea in Europa League. In their last 4 head to head meetings, WBA won only once at home with the Swans claiming 3 victories. If Michael Laudrup could get his boys  inspired and create belief, Swansea may win this one. 1-2.

Arsenal v Tottenham - The Gunners bounced back impressively after the shocked opener. Alain Giroud has been in form while Walcott has yet to open accounts. In their 5 head to head meets, there was only one draw, 3-3 at White Hart Lane. Two more at the Cockerel's ground ended 2-1 in Tottenham's favour while both Games at Arsenal were high scoring 5-2 wins for the Gunners. Tottenham has just travelled for their European adventure and may be tired but they may be a tighter side than last year. Still Arsenal is going great guns. A win for the home team but don't think it can be 5-2. 2-1 in Arsenal's favour. If it came to 5-2, I will chop off your thing and feed them to chickens.

It will be a great weekend especially Sunday.
