Course Management

Image
When I receive phone calls during a round of golf, callers being busy bodies would usually ask where I was and what I was doing. I would tell them that "I am on course". "Oh, what course are you taking?" They would ventured. They must be thinking that it was some kind of seminar and not a golf course. It is precisely that when you are out on a golf course that you are learning "course management" as if it were a management course with decision making all the way. This is why we should keep an office meeting not more than an hour for two hours is a conference and three hours is a seminar and four hours or more is a game on the golf course. One important aspect that can be neglected by some is to turn up early. Not only is this respectful but it is good etiquette and necessary for you not to rush. The Meal Professional sportsmen only have certain kind of meals before any game that can help them enhance their health, balance, energy and stamina. Here

Discover Music, Discover Narada

Advent of CD When CD was first introduced they cost more than $30 a piece. Philips came out with the CD player but it was Sony who marketed it successfully. Most of us were lost in transition. The innocent low cost cassette tapes and to some extend the vinyls were going the way of the dinosaurs. There were umpteen times they got entangled in the cassette players and the worse was when they were in the car. Otherwise, they get moldy. Meantime, those who swear by vinyls are not wrong but dirt gets trapped too easily and the inconvenience of changing stylus. CDs offer the best of several worlds - doesn't get entangled, if it gets moldy it could be easily cleansed. However, not many folks know that CDs doesn't produce the best sound at first just like DVDs won't give you the best sound and pictures as opposed to LDs. Overtime, CDs became more affordable so having lost most of my treasured songs and music, I have to seek those songs, singers and bands that I found spec

The Young And Restless

Save Our Children The last time I said that when tuition centres are flourishing, something is wrong. I saw that there were many who could not read nor write when they started primary school during my time but now all children can do that well before theirs. Once when I went to get primary six school text books for my child they were sold out even when they have printed surplus. Why? Because parents of primary five students bought them up and I presume to get their children to be smarter doing next year's work this year. I wonder if these parents would bury themselves with next year's work so they can get smarter and get ahead of others? Save our children please. Next I have seen or heard of parents who were unhappy when their children drop a little from say 95 to 90 marks even though they are still within band one and later when you see teenagers crying because they had seven distinctions out of nine, something is not quite right. Then there are some who make their chi

EPL Week 5 & 6

Game Week 5 & 6 Aston Villa 1 Bolton 1 I predicted a on goal win for Villa but the Villans are in deeper trouble than I thought. They lost manager Martin O'Neill and then James Milner to Man City so they really shouldn't be too bad suddenly. Can new manager Gerard Houllier bring them back. Owen Coyle formerly of Burnley has done well for Bolton. Villa is now away to Wolves next who played well but lost to Spurs. Dunne was one of the EPL's top defender but he's not showing the same form for Villa. I pick burly Norwegian John Carew and young upstarts Agbonlahor and Ashley Young to shine and score and win 3-2 versus Wolves. Wolves did well versus Spurs but they could not kill the game. Here was Young crashing in a beauty... Blackburn 1 Fulham 1 ( I got 100% for this one) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyHJLER7llc Paul Robinson was one of the EPL's top goalies last season and should have gone to the World Cup
