I saw a friend's posting on facebook. He wanted to eat Yong Tau Foo at about 9pm but when he got to the destination, the stall was already closed for the day. So I asked him where it is located and he gave me the address and said he heard it is good. I never forgot some food because I was first introduced to them during my childhood days and you remember them because it was your first and you either love them or hate them. Some of those you may not like turned out to be something you like when you get older but those that come in bottles never really changed. First the milk bottle, then the Coke bottle followed by the beer bottle and finally the IV drip bottle. They all comes in bottles. What another week of great soccer! Manchester United finally produced a much needed improved showing in their 4-1 victory over Villa. Nobody expected Crystal Palace to beat Chelsea 1-0, a result that threw the title race wide open. Southampton's 4-0 demolition of Newcastle confirmed how far they have come with another round of good performances from England trio Adam Lallana, Jay Rodriguez and Rickie Lambert.  Arsenal finally showed fire in their belly with a much more resilient and aggressive performance when they came back to level Manchester City 1-1, a result that could affect the title race.  Everton are peaking nicely with a fine 3-1 away defeat of Fulham and they have a realistic chance to make it to Europe and shall soon host both Arsenal and Manchester City and could be the king maker and also decide their own fate if they qualify for Europe and finally Liverpool got yet another solid 4-0 result over Tottenham.  Tottenham who got thrashed 5-0 at White Hart...

A mirror only shows your face not your heart or soul. Are Singaporeans Compassionate And Gracious? Was Charlotte Ashton fair to label Singapore as a miser city? At a coffee shop call Hainan@7, there is a very special food. It is called "Fish Man'. If you are a lover of fish, do come and try it. As for me, this is a solid fish place. They serve deep sea fish. Goals galore in the EPL. On Saturday night alone there were 32 goals in eight matches. There were several great goals and two were very special. One by Yaya Toure was a beauty and the one by Rooney takes the cake. Arsenal have just made it harder for themselves, Chelsea are in championship form, City are back with games in hand and Liverpool came back in a thriller. Do not forget the bottom dwellers fighting for their survival. Fulham and Cardiff got mauled, Palace and WBA are just a few points higher up but Sunderland have games in hand. The first time I went to Defu Lane I was pleasantly surprised with the quality seafood at Seafood Paradise. Then it got more and more crowded so I turned up less.  It has been years since and they have expanded so rapidly into not just a chain of restaurants but restaurants of different categories from casual to fine dining. So life is about people, places, events and food? Probably so but not necessary in that order. This time my opportunity was to dine at Canton Paradise at ARC. ARC is the Alexandra Retail Centre, a place that is so familiar to me as I used to work at the PSA Building for some years. Serious looking utensils stared at me which made me nervous as each time I have good food will I over indulge?
