Soccer is all about goals. Here are some wicked ones from November:

Burnley v Southampton - Both teams'bubble have burst. Burnley's two wins and two draws ended while Southampton by far the most impressive team lost all three against the big boys. The Saints should be back to winning ways. 0-2.

Chelsea v Hull - Chelsea got beaten for the first time in the League this season at St. James Park. This meant that Chelsea could be beaten. The days ahead will get harder for Chelsea as more teams would believe they could be beaten. By the same token, Chelsea is now relieved that they need not stay unbeaten. The Tigers have just stopped the rot with two draws but a hurt Chelsea at Stamford Bridge should prove too good for Hull. Diego Costa must surely return to scoring ways. 2-0.

Leicester v Man City - Poor Leicester seemed to have suffered the Old Trafford Curse. Since that famous 5-3 win, they went downhill. They were promising at the beginning but now last. Meanwhile, Chelsea's slip has allowed City to claw back three points behind. It will be tough for the Foxes. Away win. 1-3.

Sunderland v West Ham - The Black Cats went to Anfield last week and secured a goalless draw. The Hammers are on song. Sunderland may be at home but this advantage would be negated by West Ham's superb form. They played a good Swansea team and won with a solid all round display. Andy Carroll proved what he could do if the quality crosses come to him and in Sakho they have an exciting player with promise. I see another win for West Ham. C'mon you irons! 1-2.

Arsenal v Newcastle - Both are back to winning. The Gunners were poor at Stoke last week when they were left trailing 3-0 at one time. How could they? Their glaring weakness has been the lack of a solid defensive midfielder like Viera or at least they should have resigned Cesc Fabregas. Then they went to Galatasaray and promptly won 4-1. Meanwhile, the Magpies recovered quickly and continue to impress and win. What an irony that after such a poor start where Alan Pardew was on the brink of being sacked but now the Toon Army must be wanting to erect a statue of him! Look, nobody has the audacity to beat Chelsea. What a big favour they have done for the EPL. This tie will be an interesting match up. For all of Arsenal's ability, their form has been at best patchy while Newcastle could currently do no wrong and the Chelsea win must have boosted their confidence greatly and could it coincide with the scoring form of Cisse who bagged a brace against Chelsea. However, history is against the Magpies who have lost in all encounters against Arsenal since 2012. Wenger must field Alain Giroud who likes to score against Newcastle. It would not be easy but the home team could prevail for a narrow win. 2-1.

Man Utd v Liverpool - Utd have won 5 matches on the trot and found themselves unbelievably in third place. They were lucky devils instead of Red Devils when they won at Southampton's St. Mary's. Liverpool remained unbeaten in 5 matches but are nowhere near the form of last season. Utd have the advantage of not playing in Europe in mid-week while Liverpool gave their all and yet were not able to beat Basel. van Persie is purring again but I am still not impressed with Utd. I would say they would cancel each other out because Man Utd have a weak defence and Liverpool too but Liverpool are quite toothless of late so Man Utd could win but I shall pick a draw. 1-1.

Swansea v Tottenham - The Swans are a good team and Gary Monk has done great but unfortunately their record against Spurs have been dismal. Since 2012 in 5 attempts they lost all their matches against Spurs. Predicting Tottenham's outcome is precarious as just last week they could not score and drew 0-0 at home to Palace. Swansea will stretch them and give them a scare but the Cockerels should return to winning ways. 1-2.

Palace v Stoke - The two sides are blowing hot and cold and becoming so unpredictable. Draw. 1-1.

WBA v Villa - They are now going in opposite directions exchanging fortunes. The Baggies are on a LLLLD while Villa are on a much better DDDWW form. Four out of five times they have met ended in draws. A draw here is on the cards. 2-2.

Everton v QPR - Everton are nowhere near their ability of last season like their Merseyside neighbours. QPR got out of the relegation zone for the first time and must be eager to keep up and they are actually playing well but are poor away from home. Home win for Everton. 2-1.
