EPL Game Week 22

At a gay wedding between two men, the priest was confused as how to pronounce them. Husband and wife? After a long silence, he said: "I now pronounced you as Man United." Welcome back to the exciting EPL. Watch the top goals of last week:

Sunderland v Southampton - The Blackcats are definitely on the mend under Gus Poyet having won 3 on the trot. They must have been good to beat Man Utd in the CCup and followed that up with an emphatic 4-1 away win over Fulham! The Saints too have returned to winning ways with their last two matches being wins. Between them, Southampton have never beaten Sunderland in their last 4 meetings. Sunderland's morale are boosted and could win again but this is a good Southampton side who could win too but being away, I say its a draw. 1-1.

Arsenal v Fulham - Arsenal have a very good chance to land the title this season. I thought they have displayed championship form. When Giroud was out, Walcott returned from injury to add some quality goals. When Ozil and Ramsey were injured, Wilshere created and scored. They have won all their last 5 games and other than it being a London derby, there is nothing to stop the Gunners at the Emirates from getting full points unless the Cottagers pull off the year's greatest shock. Fulhams' results have been poor but they must have been inspired by their 3-0 home win over Norwich in the FA Cup. Arsenal to maintain their position at the top. 2-0.

Palace v Stoke - One All (1-1).

Man City v Cardiff - Just back in August, Cardiff shocked Man City 3-2. Then they went to two separate zones. City to the top end and Cardiff at the bottom end. When Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over, they went to St. James Park and had the Magpies beaten in the FA Cup. Solskjaer is now finding it hard when they hosted the Hammers in the league and got beaten 0-2. Can Cardiff give City another shock? City themselves were lucky to have won 2-0 at Newcastle as Tiote's screamer hit the net only to be wrongly ruled as offside otherwise the complexion of th match could be different. It is too soon for Solskjaer to do much. There is no chance for them at the Etihad as City have been a scoring machine and the team to beat for the title. Their last 3 matches were 6-0, 2-0 and 5-0. Aguero is back and Negredo is in good for. Cardiff would put on a good fight but...3-0.

Norwich v Hull - One All (1-1).

West Ham v Newcastle - Sam Allardyce may have just saved his job with that 2-0 away win over Cardiff. It was their first win in a long time. The Magpies are in free fall having now lost 4 matches in a row but they played well against City last week. The Hammers got back some belief and should do better by at least holding the visitors to a draw. 1-1.

Liverpool v Villa - Liverpool are back to winning ways. Last week's 5-3 away win over Stoke was their first at the Britannia and it was epic. Suarez had a brace and his second was magnificent while Sturridge capped his return from injury with a delightful goal when the shot came off a rebound and was heading to the touchline when he chested it then headed it back into play and in position for him to slam home. They are back to their high scoring ways and with Villa's patchy form and visiting Anfield, you know the size of their task at hand. Now you would expect Liverpool and Suarez to score for sure and with Sturridge back, good things will happen. Wrong time wrong place Villa. 3-1.

Swansea v Tottenham - In five meetings, Swansea have never beaten Tottenham home or away drawing only once two years ago. A Tottenham win for Tim Sherwood. 1-2.

Chelsea v Man Utd. - Undoubtedly the Match of the Day this weekend. Their form/result looked like these WWWWW (Chelsea) v WLLLW (Man Utd.). Chelsea are at home and the better team currently. Based on probability Chelsea is due for a loss any time soon. Eden Hazard has been scoring all their crucial goals. Stop him to stop Chelsea. If Man Utd go on to win a match like this this term, they would be inspired. Everyone could be saying now Chelsea will win? I say draw. 1-1.

WBA v Everton - 1-2.
