EPL Game Week 11

This is a special season! Everybody is taking turn to thrash one another. Manchester United tore apart Arsenal 8-2, then City thrashed United 6-1 and now Arsenal broke Chelsea's heart 5-3. At least you are now getting what you paid for to the telcos with the subscription price divided by goals.

Every year of life brings forth a new season. Steve Jobs has left us for a better place too early but he knew and said it well - "Oh Wow, Oh Wow, Oh Wow! That is the brevity of life.

Game Week 11

Newcastle v Everton - West Ham sacked Alan Pardew and when Newcastle took him in, there was resistance. Look what he has done to the Magpies! The Toon Army must be celebrating and deservingly so. They are the only other team than City to remain unbeaten after ten games. To go to Stoke and claim a famous 3-1 win? Unheard of for them.

To top it all, Demba Ba scored a hattrick. This is going to be Newcastle's season. I like it very much when you are not a super rich club and are doing well. It takes a great man and team to achieve it. Keep going! Everton was unfortunate to have lost to Man Utd. Can they stop the Magpies' flight? 2-1 to the Magpies.

Arsenal v WBA - Has Arsenal turned the corner after their horrid start to the campaign? It is a stupid question. The Gunners are on the trot and sweeping all away. They should be meeting Man Utd now to see if they could get a 6-1 win too. Everyone who missed that Chelsea game must watch it do so if you are a true soccer fan. To go to Stamford Bridge to get a result is tough enough even for the best teams. To be down twice and came back, took the lead only to be levelled then led twice more to the end with a RVP hattrick was simply amazing! It was a pulsating match no less.

RVP was the hero but to me I felt Theo Walcott has come of age, long overdue. His acceleration was incredible. Once he's past a defender, you can't catch him. He used to have problems of knowing when to hold or release the ball and had been poor with crosses but on the night he tormented Chelsea no ends. His two brilliant crosses should have resulted in goals first by Gervinho then RVP. Gervinho missed a sitter that your grandmother could have converted. Only question is will they be tired after the midweek European game? They will be too strong now. 3-1.

Aston Villa v Norwich - I think it could be a high socring game with a few goals just like both their last games where Villa drew 2-2 and Norwich were held 3-3. The wonderful thing is that these teams keep battling away. This is the way to go. If you have to go down, you go down fighting. 2-2.

Blackburn v Chelsea - Blackburn was leading Norwich and you can say they were unlucky not to have gotten all 3 points. Depending on how you look at it, this could be the best or worst time to meet Chelsea. Best because their morale has taken a beating, best as they were mired by controversy (John Terry issue) but worst as their big ego has been badly bruised. RVP broke AVB's heart. Can Chelseas bounce back. They should more than bounce. 0-2.

Liverpool v Swansea - Liverpool won 2-0 away to WBA. That is the way to go if you aspire to be champions - winning away but they have a habit of toiling and labouring and then an over dependence on Gerrard and now Suarez. Ok, Stewart Downing and Charlie Adam are doing fine but Liverpool seems to lack a cutting edge. Swansea by now has proven to be no easy meat. Pool must raised their game at Anfield if they do not wish to have another draw like Norwich. You must boss the game from the start. 2-1.

Manchester United v Sunderland - The Red Devils is also now known as the Lucky Devils. They barely scraped past Everton but this is also the hallmark of champions. Playing abdly and win. Look at good golfers, they play badly and win too. Sunderland enjoyed a bit of resurgence. Being at home and you can't beat Villa does not give you a belief that you can jump over Fergie's nest. 2-0.

QPR v Manchester City - City is one of two undefeated teams thus far this season. Can they do an Arsenal where they were undefeated the whole season? The probability suggest that there will come a time to lose a game but not now. Not yet. Spurs tore QPR apart and City will be as merciless. They have players to spare.

Manager Roberto Mancini is in a no win situation. If his team won, it is expected measured by what he had spent. If he had lost, it cannot be accepted but I like his situation. It is like others have 14 golf clubs to play and I have 42 clubs to choose from and when I feel like it I switch and change. It's like living the life of an emperor. 1-3. Release Dzeko on them like releasing the Kraken.

I like these words - "Release The Kraken!" I am going to use these words for golf as well. "Release The Kraken!"

Wolves v Wigan - Both Wolves and Wigan besides having a common "W" for their names are facing a similar situation in their position. Both teams have not won for a very long time. It looks like their board might release the Kraken on their managers soon. It is about survival now. Evry point counts. They had better start early. Wolves has the slight advantage of playing at home. 2-1.

Bolton v Stoke - Bolton is in serious trouble. It seems like they last tasted victory such a long time ago. It's not just that they are not winning but they are losing at home too. Another "Release The Kraken" possibility here. Stoke is not as strong as they were last season and their from a bit like ping pong. They win one then lose one. Now they are trending on winning 3 and then losing 3. They have just lost to Newcastle 1-3. Their next 3 games v Maccabi Tel-Aviv (2-1), Bolton (away) and QPR (home) shall be wins. 1-2 win for Stoke.

Fulham v Tottenham - Tottenham has no peers on attacking verves alone. They are purring. It seems like no team could stop them from scoring until Rubin Kazan had beaten them 1-0. Can Fulham stop Modric, Bale, van Der Vart, Lennon. What if Harry Redknapp becomes England manager one day and England plays like that? The Cockerel will crow again! Rightly so but Harry Redknapp has gone for surgery. So will their morale be affected and with Fulham thrashing Wisla Krakow 4-1 in Europe. 2-2.

Finally, I want to sign this player for he has scored the new world record for the longest headed goalf rom 58 metres - Ryujiro Ueda. Watch:

Have a good, exciting and long weekend!
Release The Kraken!
