Barcelona - A Soccer Tribute

I felt compelled to pay a tribute to great soccer. The Total Football of the Netherlands and the Tiki-Taka of Barcelona. This is a tribute to FC Barcelona! They say Spain is pretty though I have never been . (Elton John with Daniel) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AY5_CNHRqqk . But I am often in awe of Spanish music. Just listen to Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass (don't miss these music) , here with: Spanish Flea - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-_2QpbXMbw A Taste of Honey - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_KDPUTyDyQ Tijuana Taxi - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-t-g_msR2o Lonely Bull - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16B5Xm8_IKw What made it even more special was we used to play these songs so frequently in the school band. Herb Alpert is an American Jew when he went to Tijuana, Mexico and was so influenced that he formed the Tijuana Brass. From the bull fights in Mexico we move to the bull fights and soccer in Spain, in particular Barcelona. Flamenco music has such

Is it true that you are what you eat? If so, then you are my everything! Just as Santa Esmeralda told us before: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NahS_qrW7Bo . You see music never fails to bring us back to a certain time and place. When you listen to the above "You Are My Everything" by Santa Esmeralda, where were you and what were you doing back then? In school or serving national service? Whatever but you can be sure you are eating. In the West and some other countries, their houses and cars are cheap but food can be quite expensive so most folks will shop at the supermarkets and cook their own meals. Although ours have risen in prices, food here is relatively cheaper but we kind of got snooped by the expensive housing and cars. We tend to eat out more in our lifestyle. No point telling what everybody already knew. So sharing about a place you know but never knew they have some of these good foods or those you did not know existed is always good. The most under-used and most easy to give-up club in the bag is the number three 15 degrees fairway wood for me. A fairway wood is nice and easy to use off a tee on a tighter fairway simply because it is shorter than a driver and has a higher loft of 15 compared to a driver's 10 degrees, therefore, useful as a second driver. However, hitting one off the deck with consistency is a different story favouring those with a flatter swing plane. I have tried them all including all the major brands and models over the years in particular those that lay claims to be the most forgiving which usually means a bigger head. I came to a point where my longest club after a driver is a number two hybrid of 18 or 19 degrees. This however, is not sufficiently long to put a two-on on a par 5 or long par 4 or when you are playing off the Blue tee. Any hybrid of lesser loft and longer shaft is no longer as friendly. So that brings me back to be between a rock and a hard place. Titleist did not appe

What's Up Of Late?

Has anyone told you that two weeks is a long time? If you had been away for a few weeks, you will return to a new Singapore. So many things that never changed for so many years that they become part of the furniture has all changed albeit too drastically. Isn't that what you had wanted. I do feel that Singapore will get better and grow stronger in this new world but it is really down to all of us! What else is happening? Macho Man Professional wresting great "Macho Man" Randy Savage has died after a car crash near his home. The colourful character with a husky voice and psychedelic costumes who seemed so indestructible has died from his injuries at 58. He fought with Hulk Hogan, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat and the likes during his time and won two WWE Championships, two World Heavyweight Championships and was Intercontinental Champions for more that a year. His signature accessories were sunglasses, bandannas and cowboy hats with a growling catch phrase o

I love cars and I get fascinated by it. I love them curvy too! I am sure many of you do too. If I migrate it would probably be due to car prices. The decrease of COE supply that cost car prices to escalate does note help. Any how, let me show you some worthy marques. You will love them! Give them wings and they will fly! I am saving up for this Ford but I'll have to find a new place to store my parking coupons before I flip them doors. Ford has always made wonderful drivers' cars. They have a great chassis and if you now your drive, you will know that it is the chassis that makes a car very able and drivable. It enables sharp cornering and response. They come with a very well-weighted steering too which gives great feedback from the roads. It is surprising why Ford is not in the forefront of things here when they are in the USA and Europe. But I think the last few years seem to be the Year of the Cat! The Jaguars - XFR & XJ. They are more t
