Golf Anniversary

Last week I was talking about Anniversaries, in particular Wedding Anniversary. I have readers and friends thanking me for the reminder. One great fellow told me he would be celebrating his Silver Anniversary with his beloved wife this year. What a great moment and I wish them bliss for this couple for many years of joy and happiness. This year no matter what would be a special year for me too and in this month of March. It would be my 21st Anniversary meaning that my married life has reached adulthood. I take pride and this opportunity to thank my beloved wife for the pain she has to go through in giving birth to and bringing up my two beloved children. Given a choice I could have two more children so that we could form a flight for golf anytime with two on standby. June would mark my 30th Anniversary at work. Sigh. What a hard life! It's a life sentence! I was a late starter in golf. I used to play much faster ball games like soccer, squash, badminton and have even did so...

EPL Gameweek 30

There are not many games left before the season closes. I have told you umpteen times that sometimes you may not excel but the competition crumbles and self-destruct very much like a golf game. If Manchester United win it this season, it is exactly like I have described. Spurs 0 West Ham 0 - To me Spurs is the team of the season. Kudos to Harry Redknapp who turned them from relegation candidates to one challenging for honours. What is special is that they are playing breath-taking soccer fearlessly and very much like the Kevin Keegan led Newcastle of old. It may be tough but do not be surprised that they may upset Real Madrid in Europe. Gareth Bale is going to make it big with his swashbuckling style. Meanwhile, West Ham perennial struggler to avoid relegation has hit a rich vein of form. In the last few games they scored 14 goals which is more than the rest including Arsenal and Manchester United. The Hammers are an icon of English soccer. I hope they keep this going. Watch this ...

@ Punggol

@ Punggol In tiny Singapore there's no place to go and then everywhere you go you have to pay and pay quite a bit. I took the day off to rejuvenate and recharge and at the last minute I decided to check out and find out how the neighbourhood is doing. Drive along Seng Kang East by following the overhead LRT track till you see a bright yellow-orange roofed temple where you will need to make a U-turn. Just after the temple there a small street called Tebing, turn left into it to find a car park. The first thing that greets you are the eateries confirming Singapore's status as a glutton's delight. Or you can easily get over here by LRT and stop at the Riviera Station. Punggol Promenade as it is called is what you can see here. An exercise station is a place for your exercise. Something so important and yet so often taken f...

How To Get Rid Of Lizards - Effectively!

Image
The last time I talked about fear, all kinds of fear or phobia that people have and some of these fears are ever present and always prevalent like the dreaded cockroaches and lizards. If God had made them any bigger we would be living in the days of those terrible lizards aka "Dinosaurs". Now our problems are isolated in what to have a standard Milo drink or Milo Dinosaur. Dinosaurs were already here during Biblical times, just that the word "Dinosaur" which means terrible lizards has not been coined. Today I shall let you in to the world of lizards which quite a lot of people fear but actually they are all good as they do not spread diseases and they eat insects including mosquitoes. There may be more than 100 species of lizards of all types and most of us do not seem to like them too much. Those who has experienced lizards falling onto them, touched them or stepped onto them bare foot will know how it feels as your goose bumps hit 9 on the "lizar...
