TaylorMade Milled Grind Hi-Toe Wedge

Image
In golf, the longer the club the harder it is to hit square and hit it pure. Let's just say the driver is the longest therefore for many the most difficult to play. So it does mean that the shortest club in the bag being the wedge therefore, it it the easiest? Furthermore when it is time to use a wedge you are usually left with little real estate to conquer - from 100 metres and below and the worst shots are those that are not full shots. 35m or 45m shots and so on.  You will need to have full confidence with a wedge in your hands with belief and conviction. We should not let our minds play tricks on us thinking that we have to hit harder if the flag is blue and farther or to decelerate when the pin is red and nearer. Once, you could overcome such fear of over or under hitting it, the wedge becomes your scoring club. Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to the Tour-inspired TaylorMade Hi Toe wedge. It is a wedge aimed at golfers seeking more control and versatility and ...

EPL - 2018/19 - Game Week 10

Another interesting week beckons. Leader Manchester City undergo a rigorous examination when they visit Tottenham and will fall from the top if they fail and could slip behind Spurs if beaten. Liverpool will be home and have what may seem an easier task at hand. Even Chelsea and Arsenal will overtake City if they too get their win.  It is very tight at the top. City (1) are leading with 23 points from 9 matches with superior goal difference, Liverpool (2) are on 23 points, like City also unbeaten. Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham are on 21 points. There is little margin for error. The games are coming fast and furious including Champions League and the Europa.  Each team is being fashioned by their managers. So leaders play a very big part and make a huge difference to their teams. The character, positivity, confidence, growth, teamwork and results. So City are playing Guardiola-ball,Liverpool Klopp-ball, Chelsea Sarri-ball, Arsenal Emery-ball and Tott...

Ping G400 Max Driver

They say golf isn't a sport. They also say anyone can play golf. Some people even think that golf is easy. Some feel golfers aren't athletes. Have they ever tried doing it? Try hitting a sweet spot of one square inch with a stick that measure four foot. Can you hit a ball at close to 100 miles per hour and hit it on a spot the size of a dime? You play against yourself rather than  your flight mates. You do battle for 4-5 hours at the mercy of the weather and the elements. You could train for hours or play for years and get destroyed with just one shot. You could hit 250m with a drive and then do a three putt within metres. Haha. So golf are for people who do not get enough frustrations at work?  Bobby Jones said that golf is the closest game to the game we call life. You get bad breaks from good shots; You get good breaks from bad shots - but you have to play the ball where it lies.  So the first rule for me is not having to fight with your clubs. You ...

EPL - 2018/19 - Game Week 9

UEFA Nations League and International Friendlies are hurting the clubs. Some are questioning if both were necessary especially the new UEFA Nations League. England lost narrowly to Spain at home in their opener and then drew with Croatia. When they visited for the return tie, not much was expected from them and Southgate fielded some different players. By now, you know that England won 3-2 against Spain away from home. Spain of course dominated possession but it was the first time ever that Spain concede three goals at home and the English rained in the goals all within the first half. Nobody should be singing its coming home but there were some interesting takes. Jordan Pickford may not be the world best keeper or even the premier league. In fact, he fumbled with a 'Cruyff' turn but he has a left foot that could really wallop a ball not just very long but also accurately. You could say two of England's goals were launched by him. Liverpool's Joe Gomez's stock co...

I Survived Hokkaido! - Episode 3

Continued...but there will be no more sequel. Maybe just prequel. That evening when I was crossing from 7-Eleven, I noticed that the wind was very strong and they have predicted the the typhoon was passing through Hokkaido. Halfway across I felt the force of the wind which held me back and I had to struggle to get back to the hotel. Later that night I recorded the sound of the wind that whipped through. This reminded me of what I have already knew that in life often times circumstances and situation are beyond you. You will just have to accept and get on with it. Lavender On the way to a fairly new New Prince hotel in Furano after having our lavender ice cream we stopped by a shop that sells all things lavender and more. You see lavender oil is said to have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties that can heal bug bites, minor burns, relief pains, toothaches and sores. So some of us tried a sample of one very interesting product - the "lavender peeling gel". J...
