I have always asked questions and observed things, whatever they may be. This is not being "kay poh" (busybody) but a natural curiosity and very often we can find answers and solutions by asking the right questions. So, asking questions and in particular the right questions is of critical importance in any situation or purpose in life. Maybe I should have studied metal physics. When I took up golf, the first question I asked after knowing about the metal woods and irons was why did they make equipment that are so difficult to play? When they market and advertise they always say that it is forgiving, easy, etc. In golf, the longer the stick, the harder to us it or to master. So you think the shorter sticks are easy? Wrong! Let's put the woods and irons aside and talk about wedges. Have you not heard the wedges of sin is death? Oh, I mean wages but the wedges when your swing is sinful , I mean awful is death. Golf is one of the most difficult sport if not eh most dif

Continued..... In the daily hustle and bustle of life, many of us easily forget that plus or minus a bit, it is another day in paradise.  As you could see, I was here to iron out the wrinkles in life. As the song lyric goes - "You can tell from the lines on his face, you can see that he's been there. Probably been moved on from every place..." What is the name of the song? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qt2mbGP6vFI (Another Day IN Paradise - Phil Collins) Most of  us have the comfy of home but could you find the time to do nothing. Somehow, I was a little jaded and rested by watching Ip Man. A kind friend brought me delights of Penang. Very delicious indeed. Why can't they have healthy char kway teow?  The morning in Penang reminded me of my childhood days and up to the days of my youth.  This is one of the joys of Penang. Original and laid back. The way it should be. Kway Teow soup from the era of my childhood days. The stuf

EPL 2017/18 - Game Week 36

Over the weekend, Liverpool started and were held 2-2 by a defiant WBA at the Hawthorns and Klopp was rightfully fuming. The Reds were dominant and leading 2-0 comfortably but gave away two late goals that were reminiscent of their earlier days of defending set pieces. They were just slightly better than United who of all places lost 0-1 to WBA at Old Trafford just last week. WBA have left it too late to be so good.  This is not good preparation to host Roma for the Champions League semi-final tie. On a positive note, they have been given an early warning to buck up and make correction but Europe is different and that is why the EPL is the most competitive league. Liverpool promptly welcomed, dispatched Roma at Anfield and destroyed them 5-2, led 2-0 by half-time and were leading 5-0 by the 69th minute before some bad habits gave Roma two goals and a lifeline for away goals. Mane scored again. Bobby Firmino scored a brace and added two assists and so too Mo Salah who now has 10 Europ

Some folks like long haul trips. A friend once went on a Silk Road trip and he remarked that not many could do such a trip. Those that has money may not have the time and those who has time may not have the money or worse, the health and fitness.  Then there are those who has no money and no time, how? Stranded? Still you need a break, no matter how short. Where can one go within an hour or two which for others is like a bus ride frequently. We headed for the Pearl of the Orient - Penang. It is called so because of its landscape of Colonial, Oriental and local influences. It is a flight where the moment you are up in the air, before they serve you drinks on a normal flight or before you could settle down, you are soon going to land. The morning at Changi showed us promise. There was something silky in the air. Even the light pointed us the way. We were even given what felt like one of the newest planes. It reminded us that we are humans after all. That at the end of
